Healing begins with acceptance. As long as we are born into this world and inhabit a body, some degree of suffering will always accompany us. Our minds become conditioned by our situations, our circumstances, and the pressures society places upon us—the pressure to fit into a so-called perfect world. Unrealistic expectations from family and society often weigh heavily on us. Sometimes this weight becomes so unbearable that we feel crushed and lose our inner stability.

In these moments, antidepressants, counsellors, and various forms of help enter our lives. These counsellors, though well-intentioned, are also human; they too may be far from the deeper truth. (This is not a criticism of counsellors—many genuinely help.) But still, it raises a question: **How can one lost soul show the way to another lost soul?**

To understand the real cause of our suffering, we need someone—or something—that can lift the veil of ignorance from our eyes. The light is always there, but in the darkness of night we cannot see it. In the same way, truth is always present, but we cannot perceive it when the mind is clouded. Yet the moment a lamp is lit, everything becomes clear. It is not the absence of truth that makes us suffer, but our disconnection from it.

You are this Love. You are this Light. But due to personal circumstances, pain, conditioning, and emotional wounds, your shine begins to fade. This dimming is not because love or light has left you; it is simply because you have forgotten your true nature. Your true nature is Sat–Chit–Ananda—existence, consciousness, bliss. You are, in essence, an eternally joyful being.

Many healing practices attempt to mend what appears to be a “broken self.” But in truth, the Self is never broken. The real Self is unscathed, untouched—just as the ‘Bhagavad Gita’ states: the soul cannot be cut, cannot be burned, cannot be wet by water; it is eternal and infinite. It is the external body and the conditioned mind that experience suffering, not the soul.

When you begin to observe your emotions, your thoughts, and your experiences without identifying with them, something profound awakens. You learn to separate the true Self from the physical body and the turbulent mind. And in that recognition, a deep inner transformation begins—the metamorphosis back to who you truly are: Light and Love.

As this awareness grows, healing naturally unfolds. You begin to appreciate life more deeply, to feel grateful for small blessings, and to reconnect with the quiet joy that was always within you. You realise that suffering was never your identity—it was only a shadow cast by the temporary clouds of misunderstanding.
