What is EGO?

Ego is person’s sense of self esteem and self importance. It has Latin origin literally meaning ‘I’
We live, eat and breathe in this sense of self importance. The only thing that matters is I, my wants, my desires, my hurt, my pain. It is all about I. There is nothing bad in it but what matters is the degree of it. Yes we do need little EGO but we forget that little child( soul) in us, has nothing to do with all this. It wants to make a connection with another soul. But we are conditioned and taught from childhood this is yours, this is not yours, He is good, he is not good. How one can be good or bad, as we all are Universe child we all are equal in His eyes and His love is Unconditional.
We are what we are because we need to learn certain life experiences in this life. One of the lesson for most of us is to rise above Ego -false pride. Our identity is not with I but with Him, One whom we call by different names.
This is the essence of life. It is connection with one soul to another in a deeper level not in a superficial……
